First thing to do is prepare your yeast. Your best bet is to start off with a brand-new package. You need to rehydrate it in a glass of water and is covered with plastic wrap. This will take you about 15 minutes. Once the yeast has been rehydrated, you can throw in with the must. When doing this, you're going to want to leave some ' head space ' at the top of the container. For instance, if you're using a gallon jug, you'll want to remove about 16 ounces of juice and save it for later.

You'll nexthave to put on the ferMentation lock. If you don't have the ferMentation lock you can use plastic wrap over top of the lid and seal it tightly with a rubber band. It is a little bit tougher this way it will serve its purpose in a jam.

As the ferMentation process begins, yeast will eventually fall out of solution and form a liar on the bottom of the vessel. It is at this time that you will have to begin racking your concoction. The first racking is always the most important, but it should not be done too often as you wind up removing too much liquid.

When the fermentation process is finally stopped the yeast will begin to fall out of the solution. As time passes, your solution should become clear. If this does not happen you can naturally use a clearing agent or gelatin toclear your liquid. This is not a necessity if you are not worried about appearances.

Now you're ready to bottle your product. How fancy you want to be is up to you. You can sites in the liquid into an empty soda bottle or if you looking for a better appearance, you can get some old record from wine bottles and if you put the liquid in. That is totally up to you.

If you're looking to carbonated beverage, is a fAirly simple process. Before you begin modeling take a small amount of juice or sugar and add it to your finished product. If you are doing this, bottle that you use is going to have to be able to hold pressure otherwise you will have a grenade on your hands.
